Kickstart torsdagen før jobb! Fra kl. 07.00 inviterer Interpuls og Morning Beat til rusfri morgenrave med DJ Franko. Fortsett den gode flyten kl. 09.00 med en yogaøkt til live musikk fra Interpuls Ensemble, som fremfører meditativ musikk av bl.a. Philip Glass og Arvo Pärt. En energigivende start på både arbeidsdagen og festivalen! Det serveres kaffe og kakao.
NB: Ta med din egen yoga-matte hvis du vil være med på yoga!

Interpuls tar deg med på alt fra konserter i stummende mørke til Radiohead, Steve Reich og dansegulv. Philipp Geists spektakulære visuals forvandler hele kirkerommet til et pulserende kunstverk, mens du nyter konserter, popcorn og drikke fra baren. Kom og gå som du vil - hvert sett varer rundt 20 minutter - og opplev tidløs musikk i en helt ny setting. Kvelden avsluttes i krypten der den siste LightsOut-konserten ledes over i en dansbar klubbkveld med DJ Franko.
Billetter kjøpes som pass til hele kvelden samlet, men kom og gå når du vil! (Men vennligst merk: ingen inngang/ utgang mellom 20.00-20.25 pga mørkekonsert.)
19.00 | PULS 1 - Workers Union
Musikere fra Norges Musikkhøgskole og Interpuls Ensemble åpner kvelden med et rytmisk fyrverkeri. Uten tonearter eller melodi er Workers Union en kompromissløs eksplosjon av rytme og mekanisk puls. Fest setebeltene!
19.30 | PULS 2 - Vocal Sessions: Astrid Nordstad
Mezzosopranen Astrid Nordstad og Interpuls Ensemble tar oss med på et intimt konsertsett med musikk som spenner fra Radiohead til Caroline Shaw og klassiske komponister.
20.00 | PULS 3 - LightsOut
Konsert i stummende mørke! LightsOut er en gruppe som spesialiserer seg på å spille konserter i absolutt mørke. Ved å frarøves synssansen oppstår noe helt unikt der lyden og musikken får uforstyrret fokus. Dette må oppleves! LightsOut spiller et konsertsett med en miks av minimalistisk og klassisk musikk. De eminente musikerne i ensemblet er Magnus Boye Hansen (fiolin), Nikolai Matthews (kontrabass), Mathias Halvorsen (klaver).
20.30 | PULS 4 - Radio Rewrite (Steve Reich / Radiohead)
Inspirert av Radioheads Jigsaw Falling Into Place og Everything in its Right Place får vi høre Steve Reichs ikoniske Radio Rewrite.
21.00-23.30 | PULS 5 - LightsOut og Evening Beat i krypten
Dette har du aldri opplevd før! LightsOut spiller et kort konsertsett i den mørklagte krypten i Jakobskirken som gradvis glir over i dansegulv signert DJ Franko og teamet fra Morning Beat.

Kickstart your Thursday before work! From 07:00, Interpuls and Morning Beat invite you to a sober morning rave with DJ Franko. Keep the good flow going at 09:00 with a yoga session accompanied by live music from the Interpuls Ensemble, performing meditative works by, among others, Philip Glass and Arvo Pärt. An energizing start to both your workday and the festival!
Coffee and hot chocolate will be served.
Note: Please bring your own yoga mat if you want to join the yoga session!
Morning Beat on 12 February is part of the Interpuls festival. With a full-day pass, you get access to Morning Beat, the Yoga Concert, and the evening concerts + Evening Beat from 19:00 on 12 February!

Interpuls takes you on a journey from concerts in complete darkness to Radiohead, Steve Reich, and the dance floor. Philipp Geist’s spectacular visuals transform the entire church into a pulsating artwork while you enjoy concerts, popcorn, and drinks from the bar. Come and go as you like — each set lasts around 20 minutes — and experience timeless music in an entirely new setting. The evening concludes in the crypt, where the final LightsOut concert transitions into a dance-friendly club night with DJ Franko.
Tickets are sold as a single pass for the entire evening, but you’re free to come and go!
(Please note: no entry or exit between 20:00–20:25 due to the dark concert.)
19:00 | PULSE 1 – Workers Union
Musicians from the Norwegian Academy of Music and Interpuls Ensemble open the evening with a rhythmic firework display. Without key or melody, Workers Union is a relentless explosion of rhythm and mechanical pulse. Fasten your seatbelts!
19:30 | PULSE 2 – Vocal Sessions: Astrid Nordstad
Mezzo-soprano Astrid Nordstad and the Interpuls Ensemble take us through an intimate set featuring music ranging from Radiohead to Caroline Shaw and classical composers.
20:00 | PULSE 3 – LightsOut
A concert in complete darkness! LightsOut is a group specializing in performances in absolute darkness. By removing the sense of sight, something entirely unique emerges, giving sound and music undisturbed focus. This is something you have to experience! LightsOut performs a set mixing minimalist and classical music. The ensemble’s outstanding musicians are Magnus Boye Hansen (violin), Nikolai Matthews (double bass), and Mathias Halvorsen (piano).
20:30 | PULSE 4 – Radio Rewrite (Steve Reich / Radiohead)
Inspired by Radiohead’s Jigsaw Falling Into Place and Everything in Its Right Place, we hear Steve Reich’s iconic Radio Rewrite.
21:00–23:30 | PULSE 5 – LightsOut and Evening Beat in the crypt
You’ve never experienced anything like this! LightsOut performs a short concert set in the darkened crypt of Jakob Church, which gradually transforms into a dance floor hosted by DJ Franko and the Morning Beat team.
